HighSlide for Joomla [Creative Commons] it’s a plugin that implements a Javascript interaction like Lightbox. The difference with Lightbox is that the website is not put in the background, but the user has the feeling that he hasn’t left the web page.
mfFancyZoom [Creative Commons] plugin that introduces a zoom function to your images.
Magic Zoom for Joomla content [Free Licence] useful to add zoom to your images without having the user to click the image, because it starts when the user gets over the image with the mouse.
Slimbox Image Gallery Plugin for Joomla! v 1.5 [GPL] interesting image gallery for Joomla! 1.5
Phatfusion Slideshow Joomla! v 1.5 plugin [GPL] slideshow for Joomla! made using mootools. Really beautiful!
Random Image Plugin for Joomla! v 1.5 [GPL] adds to every article in a set category to include a random image taken from a custom directory. You can set the position of the image via the administration panel.

Swing by and check my Joomla powered site and see what yootools and yootheme have done for me. I love their stuff since the javascript is incorporated into the sites template all you have to do is manage it in the backend. Good post! Found you via digg, we are friends you know
